To illustrate these two vital targeted website traffic components let’s assume that you want to sell shoes online…
But there are 64 million + webpages that come up when you Google ’shoes’.  That’s quite a bit of competition considering you have to pass all of them to make it to the top of the search engine results.
 
Ranking on the first page of any search engine for shoes would be a natural search engine optimization feat equivalent to flying around the world using nothing more than your arms as wings.  It’s not going to happen.  But that’s okay.  You will just specialize.  Select a brand, like Reebock; down to 37 million.  How about black Reebok shoes? 400,000 – Now that’s very do-able.  Now that you have a targeted keyword, you can achieve targeted website traffic, or can you?
