Choosing Keywords with the T-T Keyword Finder

After opening Traffic-Travis, click on ‘keyword finder’, and type in the first keyword on your keyword list.
After the search is complete, order your words by ‘least to most ‘searches per day by clicking on the "combined" column heading. You will likely want to have at least 50 searches per day to make it worthwhile to optimize your website for that word (or keyword phrase). If your keyword (phrase) has less you can throw it out.
Now go through the list and click the ‘Move to Saved’ button for every word that may work for your product/service. As you get to more searches per day there is likely going to be more competition because the increased amount of traffic. Repeat this for your entire list.
Now that you have a list of words people are searching for you need to find out if getting targeted website traffic for that word is a "pipe-dream" or not. To do this type (copy) each word into the Google search box. If you are planning on getting ranked for this word using Free SEO Tips then throw out any words that return a search result of 10 million pages or more. Otherwise, you could be waiting awhile, likely a year; even if you do everything else right. For the fastest guaranteed web traffic for your business, aim for under 500,000 results and less.
Once you have your list narrowed down you still may find that you have too many to use for optimization. To narrow down your list you want to rank your list by the least competition first, then sort by the most searches per day. This will give you the most visitors with the least amount of competition.
